Video: The Mullers move to Amsterdam

I amsterdam is the official motto of the city of Amsterdam. The website Iamsterdam.com is trusted by more than a million visitors a month looking to visit, enjoy, live, work and invest in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is nothing if not welcoming. And so when the Mullers of Silicon Valley decided to move here – and make a music video about it of course – we thought we’d respond with our own video, and give them a proper Dutch welcoming. So Amy, Thor, Quinn and Tesla Muller: we can’t wait to meet you.

The Mullers are moving from Silicon Valley to Amsterdam. And we know this because they made a music video (as one does).

They’re enthusiastic, but have some concerns about the weather, transportation and the metric system.

We think they’ll fit right in, but here’s Amsterdam’s response.

They can pick up a new SUV quite quickly.

And a two-car garage.

And don’t worry about pronouncing words correctly, the Dutch are very tolerant.

And will gladly teach you the appropriate phrases to use in any situation.

The Mullers are also worried about the food, and yes, the Dutch eat a lot of balls.

But Dutch kids have chocolate for breakfast.

And Amsterdam has every cuisine under the sun.

You can even eat burgers from a wall.

We have scenic walks, moonlit parks, opera and beer for the parents.

And science parks, cruises and climbing for the kids.

The windows don’t have curtains because the Dutch are open, and welcoming.

Unless you visit unannounced.

But don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of the culture soon enough.

You’re going Dutch!

Watch the full response video below. And if you haven’t seen the Muller’s video, check that out here.
